Osteopathy

Rosi Sexton Registered OsteopathOsteopaths consider each person as an individual. Utilising gentle techniques they will work with your body to create the perfect conditions to encourage the healing process” (British Osteopathic Association)

Osteopaths treat many different conditions. We are best known for treating back and neck pain; though we also work with patients who come to us with a wide range of muscle and joint problems.

Osteopathic treatment considers the body as a whole. This means that an osteopath will examine how different parts of your body work together in order to find and treat the cause of your pain. At every stage, we will explain what we have found and what we can do to help you.Rosi Sexton Registered Osteopath Taping
We use a wide range of hands-on techniques, depending on what is appropriate for your individual needs. This may include massage, joint mobilization, stretching and exercise advice.

Osteopaths assess and treat people of any age or walk of life, including children, the elderly, pregnant women and sports people. Sometimes people come to us with an underlying medical condition, or occasionally a person’s pain may be a symptom of something more serious. We are trained to understand and recognize these cases, and to work together with a patient’s GP or specialist where appropriate.
